About us

Town Green Athletic JFC has only been going for 4 years. In that time, we have progressed from one team who are now in the Under 11’s age group to having teams in age groups ranging from Under 7’s to Under 11’s.

The club was born out of the idea of football for all, rather than just the elite. We are very proud of the fact that we do not hold trials for our teams but accept any child who wants to play football and have fun.

We are also extremely proud of the fact that a number of our teams have both boys and girls playing in the same team and in the Soccer Zone League we are the only team that does this.

Although currently none of our teams have ever one their league, we do have a recent history of cup winners!

Under 11’s Team

Our current Under 11’s team are holders of last years Copa Marbella Fair Play trophy and current Soccer Zone Cup Holders.

We are top of Division B and are in the Quarter Finals of the Cup Competition.

We either play very well and score lots of goals in the process or wake up half asleep and have lots of goals scored against us.

You never can tell which Town Green Team will turn up, although the one thing you can be sure of is we will compete until the end……

Considering ourselves as seasoned pro’s of Copa Marbella, we can’t wait to get out there and in the words of the kids ‘Play for England’ again. It was such a fantastic experience, we have brought along our ‘brilliant’ Under 8’s team to take part.
