The Tournament

Copa Marbella is organised on a 'league' basis with teams being placed into a group giving them a guaranteed amount of football. Matches take place in the evening time after 4pm taking advantage of the more moderate temperatures. All teams will have one 'rest day' giving participants the chance to enjoy the many activities the Costa-Del-Sol has to offer and have a great holiday! In 2008 Copa Marbella will extend from Under 8's to Under 16's. Categories are based on international thresholds although there is dispensation to grant a maximum of 3 over-age players to play for each team providing they are no more than 4 months over the limit.
