The primary supporter of Copa Marbella is the department for tourism and sport of the 'Junta de Andalucía' (regional government for the south of Spain) and the Andalucían tourist board. In 2008 the 'Junta' sent a film crew to the 'Torneo de Semana Santa' in order to capture the action and were so impressed that they followed this up by pledging to support the event in future years as well as other events to be initiated. Having the support of the government gives the events the credibility they deserve.
 
Atalaya Park initiated its association with Sports Tours Spain in 2009, providing the venue for Copa Marbella group stage matches as well as accommodating teams taking part. Teams attending the 2009 event gave us very positive feedback indeed about the hotel resulting in a continual partnership.
